From time to time, Sassco played at Gateshead, which at that time was one of the only full size pitches in the region with 11-a-side goals accessible during pre-season. As you can see from the photo, the location of the Field Turf ground is located to the bottom right of the Stadium, next to Car Park 3. Everything is clearly signposted.
