Thunder still on top, but Fusion closing in.

Wear Consulting 3 Hendon Rovers 0 match awarded
Hendon Rovers were unable to field a team, so Wear Consulting received the three points. Hendon are fined £15 and deducted three points.

Wear Consulting 2 Sassco.co.uk 1
Both teams were missing key players. Wear Consulting didn’t have Tyzack, but could call on a reasonably strong team. They opened the scoring with a goal from long range. The second half saw Sassco capitalise on an error and Cresswell equalised. But, with around five minutes remaining, an error from Sassco allowed Wear Consulting to score the eventual winner. In the dying seconds, Cresswell saw his shot saved by Kevin Cooper to give Wear the three points.

WWC 3 Downhill Impact 1
A new start for Downhill Impact, as Mickey Pearson took control of the the team. The line up was the same as you’d expect from Downhill, but the first half was a strong performance, as Anth Pearson put Kev McCluskey through to score against WWC (without Tommy Bell). However, normal service was resumed and WWC ran out 3-1 winners.

Downhill Impact 1 IPS 0

As expected, Redhouse Stars failed to show. If anyone is aware of a team out there ready to take over, then please contact us.

Thanks go to Downhill – who were on stand by. The tired team actually looked fresher and an opener from the prolific Kevin McCluskey wasn’t replied to. IPS surprisingly didn’t equalise despite the goal coming early on. A great win for Downhill.

Redhouse Fusion 6 Sassco.co.uk 1

Ironically, Sassco opened the scoring when Wayne Greenwell opened the scoring. Fusion were rattled, but a long range screamer from Josh Lay (his words not mine) settled the current Champions and they quickly added more goals. Kurt got the other goal, but Bullet Skull Wooton scored a staggering four goals. Fusion are now closing in on Thunder and have a game in hand.
