Season 25’s final tournament of the year.
We have confirmed the 5th of December as the next tournament. This will take place at the excellent facilities at Washington Leisure Centre.
Entrance costs
The tournament is 5-a-side and entrance cost is £30. Payment is always made in advance, so teams are committed to joining, as pitch costs and referee costs do not change. This is a self funded tournament, so pitch costs and referee costs are calculated to come up with the £30. This is non-profit, as it has always been since 1999.
The maximum for a single pitch is 5 teams, but we’d need another 2 or 3 if we want to go onto a second pitch (we’re happy with the four teams as it is now).
Tournament format
Each team will have 4 x 15 minute games playing against the other teams in a single 4 team group. Fixtures are shown as below:
The “fruit bowl” trophy is awarded to the winners, who will keep it until the following tournament.
