After the expanded 7-team tournament in August, we reverted to a compact 4-team tournament.
Sassco.co.uk kicked off against the new boys, B Town FC and took a hammering, showing their age and immobility. Hustlers then defeated the incumbents Sunderland West End, before Hustlers then defeating Sassco.co.uk. In the meantime, B Town had defeated Sunderland West End, so the showdown was between them and Hustlers.
The game was level for quite a while before B Town raced ahead and took the trophy.
Sassco were defeated by West End in the last game of the night to finish rock bottom. This was the final tournament for 2024 and we reconvene on 11th Feb 2025, where the tournament is now going to be an Over 40s event.
