Two comprehensive wins, and then a tight victory over the returning Newcastle City.

Harper’s team dusted off their previous second place and brought a team to win it – which they did.

Kurdish FC were back as Morfose Barbers, with Castle Park, Sassco.co.uk and a welcome return for Newcastle City.

The opener saw a below par Morfose team take a 2-0 lead v Sassco.co.uk, before a comeback (including a rare Sangha goal) saw Sassco equalise before succumbing to a late winner from Morfose. It was then Castle Park taking a narrow win over Newcastle City, before hammering Sassco 7-1.

Morfose then suffered at the hands of Newcastle by four goals to one, while Castle Park put five past Morfose to confirm the title win. The final game saw Sassco claw back a 4-0 deficit to 4-4, only to concede in a 5-4 defeat to Newcastle City FC – who had an accomplished return

The next tournament is 23rd July for anyone who is interested.
