Three expected wins in the final day seal it.
The season finally ended – seven months after starting. The way forward will be one-off tournaments as the commitment is easier.
Redhouse Fusion, as expected, took the title again, with three victories in their three final day games. Thanks also to SNCBC as they took the place of UCS in two games and gave Fusion a challenge.
Redhouse Fusion 8 Clearly Drinks 0
Tracy Mallam and Dave Mackintosh took their place in the starting line-up against a very strong Redhouse side and title favourites. Tracy’s appearance made her the first woman to grace the league in its 19 year history.
Clearly Drinks started well and kept it tight for the first 10 mins or so, and when the deadlock was broken, so were the floodgates, with wave after wave of attacks and great saves to keep the score down. Redhouse ran out comfortable winners in the end and made another step towards the title.

Redhouse Fusion 3 SNCBC 0
An impressive looking SNCBC took the game to Fusion and had a number of opportunities, before an error saw Fusion take a 1-0 lead and eventually fire in two more.
UCS 7 Clearly Drinks 1
UCS (represented by SNCBC) quickly raced into a 4-0 lead in the first half – a day to forget at the office, with individual mistakes and lack of energy. UCS scored a couple more in the second half before a Ryan Defty shot reduced the deficit, before UCS put the icing on the cake with another goal.
