The regular 11-a-side team may be a distant memory after a disastrous final season, but the bulk of the side over the last few years is making a comeback in the form of two summer friendlies; against strong Northern Alliance opponents, Chemfica on the 16th at Gateshead International, followed by a game at Team Valley against Rutherford Deaf.
The side will feature many of the players who have not shone for Sassco over the last ten years.
After this, the team will be in hibernation until the following summer…
