Three late goals put an end to a brief comeback.
A Sassco team with a few changes suffered a 5-1 defeat against MADAS at the BOL.
MADAS were comfortably 2-0 ahead in the first half, before a comeback by Sassco, with Harper firing in a superb free-kick to make it 2-1.
The game went back and forth, but Sassco ran out of steam in the end with three late goals, which finally beat the superb Kevin Cooper in goal. Sassco were walking wounded at this time, so it wasn’t surprising.
There have been three very competitive 9-a-side games; all defeats for Sassco.
