Sassco
equipment.
The shirts used are similar as in the previous two seasons.
The home strip is all white (with striping on the arms) and
the away strip is blue shirts and whites shorts/socks. The
design of the new home shirt is white and also features and
embroidered badge and the sponsors logo. The kit is designed
by Sassco and manufactured within Asia. Click
here to view previous and future Sassco shirts.
The
official match balls also come from Asia. These are designed
with a retro look of the late 60's and the 1970's. The ball
is up to FIFA Approved Standard and is made of a durable material
as they are also used on the 6-a-side artificial ground. The
footballs have the Sassco and various sponsor logos on them.
The
recommended branded supplier is always Adidas as it has been
since the creation of the 6-a-side League and also the 11-a-side
team. Other suppliers tend to be sourced from the internet,
such as ACA
Sports and M&M
Sports. The main local supplier for items such as shorts,
socks, nets, pegs, etc. is Title Sports are based in Sunderland

Click
here to see a detailed map showing the locations of all
the teams playing in the WCFL. Games kick off at 2:00pm each
Saturday afternoon and 6:00pm on weekdays if any games are
arranged for then. For any player requiring transport to our
home ground and any of the other locations, they must contact
any of the management well in advance of any game. We should
be at each home game at least 1 hour before kick off to sort
out the nets for the pitch. For away games, we should arrive
and be ready at least 30 minutes before kick off.
